Counts cover employer firms located in the city of Miami; firms are from 2022 and residents from the 2020 Census, so the per-resident figure is approximate.
Miami is the county seat and the largest of the 34 municipalities in Miami-Dade County. Its 17,986 employer firms are 22.1% of the county’s 81,244 and 9.8% of the 184,217 across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. That is the biggest share of its county of any South Florida city we cover, and it still leaves more than three of every four county firms outside the city limits.
Miami has 442,241 residents (2020 Census), which works out to about 41 employer firms for every 1,000 people. Miami Beach has about 50 and Aventura about 60, so Miami has fewer firms per resident than those two but a far larger base of firms to compete with. Median household income is $62,462, against $71,753 for Miami-Dade County as a whole.
A check of the results for “seo company miami” on October 14, 2026 found agencies’ own Miami pages and a directory of Miami SEO firms. Several of the agencies say they are based in Miami or South Florida. One gives a street address in Downtown Miami, and another lists a Miami office while being headquartered in Boynton Beach. At least one is a national agency headquartered outside Florida, with a page written for Miami.
The same search shows a local map pack. Google bases local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and distance means how far a business is from the person searching. Agencies with a Miami address have a built-in edge on that map. A Brooklyn agency does not, and we will not claim otherwise. Your business is different: its Miami address is what puts it near your customers, and that is what we build on.
The pages we reviewed do not show Census business counts for Miami or compare the city with the ones around it. One agency does target Spanish-language searches such as “agencia SEO en Miami” and names neighborhoods like Brickell, Wynwood and Little Havana. That fits the Census figures: 77.2% of Miami residents age 5 and over speak a language other than English at home (2020 to 2024). This page starts from the numbers, and the five cities near Miami have pages of their own.

Five cities near Miami have pages of their own. Each is a separate municipality in Miami-Dade County with its own business base.
5,759 employer firms, about 7% of the county and the largest of our Miami-Dade areas. Doral became a city in 2003, and U.S. Southern Command has its headquarters there.
5,434 employer firms, second only to Doral among our Miami-Dade areas. Hialeah is Miami-Dade County’s second-largest city, and its historic Hialeah Park Race Track is on the National Register of Historic Places.
5,120 employer firms, the third-largest base among our Miami-Dade areas. Coral Gables was incorporated in 1925, and the University of Miami, its largest employer, has its main campus there.
4,174 employer firms for 82,890 residents, about one firm for every 20 people. Its Art Deco Historic District has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.
2,427 employer firms for 40,242 residents, a denser mix than Miami Beach. Aventura became a city in 1995, and Aventura Mall is among the largest malls in the United States.
We build SEO for ten kinds of Miami business: contractors, landscapers, medical practices, law firms, accountants, dentists, and HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing companies. Each industry page covers what its customers search for and the Florida rules that apply to it.
We also work with personal injury lawyers, med spas, real estate agents and insurance agencies. If your industry is not listed, contact us.

We check who ranks for the searches your Miami customers use, including Spanish-language searches where your customers use them, and where your business sits against the city's 17,986 employer firms.

We map those searches to pages, one service and one place at a time, and decide whether you need pages for Doral, Coral Gables or Miami Beach or only for Miami.

We fix your site, write your Miami pages, and set up the Google Business Profile and local links that support them.

We track rankings, calls and form fills for Miami searches and change what is not working.

We are in Brooklyn and have no Florida office. We work with Miami businesses by video and phone, and we would rather say that up front than imply an address we do not have.
This page starts from Census counts for the city, not from a template with the name swapped in, and each of the five nearby cities gets its own numbers too.
Miami Realtors’ 2025 report ranks New York first among states purchasing in South Florida for the sixth year in a row, at 24% of out-of-state buyers. That figure describes home buyers, not business owners, but a New York agency is no stranger to this market.
You see what we find before you decide anything.
It depends on how competitive your service is, how much your site needs fixed and how many locations or languages you need covered. We quote after the free audit, so you see what we found before you see a price. We will not guess at a number before we have looked at your site.
Start with Miami if customers come to you, and add nearby cities only where you really work. Miami holds 22% of Miami-Dade's employer firms, so most of the county's businesses are elsewhere. We check where your customers live, then decide whether one page or several will serve them.
Only if you have a real location or real customers there. Each is its own city with its own business base, and the pages we build for them carry their own numbers and local facts. A copy of your Miami page with a new name adds little and risks looking like a doorway page. We recommend pages for your best cities and one strong Miami page.
It depends on who your customers are, but in Miami it is a real question. Most Miami residents age 5 and over speak a language other than English at home, according to the Census Bureau. We check the searches your customers actually use in the market review and tell you whether pages in Spanish are worth building.
Your website address, your Google Business Profile link if you have one, and the Miami-Dade cities where you want customers. Tell us your industry and your main services. We do the rest of the research ourselves and send a short list of what to fix first. You do not need to know SEO terms to ask.
They do different jobs. Google Ads brings calls as soon as a campaign runs and stops when the budget stops. SEO takes longer and keeps working without per-click costs. Many local businesses run both, and we will tell you honestly which one fits your budget and your service.
No. Nobody outside Google controls rankings, so any guarantee is a red flag. We can promise a clear plan, honest reporting on rankings, calls and form fills, and changes when something is not working. You will see what we change and why.

Tell us your business and the cities you serve, and we will send a free Miami SEO audit with the first things to fix.
Fort Lauderdale sits about 25 miles north of Miami, across the county line in Broward County, so a business with customers on both sides of that line can read how search works there.
