South Florida’s Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties hold about 184,000 employer firms: 81,244, 57,280 and 45,693. Thrive SEO NYC builds SEO for the ones that want to be found, from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
Thrive SEO NYC is a Brooklyn-based SEO company. We work with Florida businesses remotely, by video and by phone, and we do not have a Florida office. Our Florida pages start from each city’s own business numbers, not from a template with the name swapped in.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, QuickFacts (2020 Census population; employer firms and employer establishments, reference year 2022). Buyer and mover figures: Miami Realtors, 2025 reports, which describe home buyers and movers, not business owners.
South Florida is three counties, not one city. Miami-Dade has 81,244 employer firms, 44% of the total. Broward has 57,280 (31%) and Palm Beach County has 45,693 (25%). The biggest business center in each county holds only a fraction of its county: Miami about 22% of Miami-Dade, Fort Lauderdale about 19% of Broward and Boca Raton about 16% of Palm Beach County. The rest of the business base is spread across many other cities.
Palm Beach County shows how local this gets. Boca Raton has 7,241 employer firms, about 49% more than West Palm Beach’s 4,853, and Delray Beach adds 2,941. A business in one of those cities competes with the businesses around it, not with the whole county, so our Florida pages are built one city at a time.
The market also has a New York connection. Miami Realtors’ 2025 report ranks New York first among the states sending out-of-state home buyers to the Miami area for the sixth year in a row, at 24% of those buyers, with New Jersey at 9%. Its mover data names Nassau, Suffolk and New York counties as the top three out-of-state origins for Palm Beach County. Thrive SEO NYC comes from that market.
Miami-Dade is the largest of the three counties, with 81,244 employer firms and 2,701,767 residents. Miami holds 17,986 of those firms, and Doral, Hialeah and Coral Gables each have more than 5,000.
Broward has 57,280 employer firms and 1,944,375 residents. Fort Lauderdale holds 10,690, and ten other cities we cover each have between 2,259 and 5,007.

Areas near West Palm Beach: Jupiter SEO, Palm Beach Gardens SEO and Wellington SEO.
7,241 employer firms, about 16% of the county, the most of our Palm Beach cities.
Areas near Boca Raton: Deerfield Beach SEO, in Broward County, about 4 miles away.
2,941 employer firms for 66,846 residents, about one firm for every 23 people.
Areas near Delray Beach: Boynton Beach SEO.
Four more city pages cover Central Florida, the Tampa Bay area and the northeast of the state. Jacksonville has 18,981 employer firms, Tampa 14,057, Orlando 11,561 and St Petersburg 7,154.
11,561 employer firms for 307,573 residents, about one firm for every 27 people.
7,154 employer firms for 258,308 residents, about one firm for every 36 people.
18,981 employer firms for 949,611 residents, more than any other city on this page.

We also work with personal injury lawyers, med spas, real estate agents and insurance agencies. If your industry is not listed, contact us.

We look at your city, your competitors and the searches your customers use, and we start from the city's own Census numbers.

We map those searches to pages, one service and one city at a time, so no two pages chase the same search.

We fix your site, write the pages and build the local links and reviews that support them.

We track rankings, calls and form fills, and change what is not working.

We work with Florida clients by video and phone, and we say plainly that we have no Florida office.
The New York area sends more out-of-state home buyers to the Miami area than any other state, so a New York agency is no outsider here.
Each Florida city page starts from that city’s own Census numbers, not from a shared template.
You see what we find before you decide anything.
SEO takes months, not weeks, and the timeline depends on how competitive your city and your service are. A new page can show impressions quickly, but rankings and calls build more slowly. The audit gives you a realistic picture for your market before you commit to anything.
It reviews how your site loads, whether search engines can read it, what your pages target and how you appear in local results. You get a short list of what to fix first. You can act on it yourself, with another provider or with us.
Yes. A business with locations in, say, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton needs a page and a profile for each, with details that really differ. We plan the pages city by city so they do not repeat each other. Tell us where the locations are in the audit request and we will map them.
If customers visit you or you travel to them, yes. It is the base of local SEO and it is how you show up in map results. We set it up or clean it up as part of Local SEO. If you serve several cities, we also check that each one has a page of its own on your site.
The main difference is geography. Business is spread across three counties and many cities. Boca Raton has about 49% more employer firms than West Palm Beach, and Delray Beach has 2,941 of its own. A business here usually competes with the firms in its own city, so we plan by city instead of treating Florida as one market.

Tell us your city and your industry, and we will send a free SEO audit with the first things to fix.
